Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Alston was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Alston began to lead the lost caravan. He tends to his Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: The child of a Bounty Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Valorean was taken on many hunting expeditions. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a bounty hunter again

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Qualen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
