History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During her travels, Marigold and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Marigold discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Marigold fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Sorath was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
