Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Korinn was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Korinn never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
