A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Through the years after Calcitro was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Calcitro's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Eldon enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Eldon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Eldon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. After coming to the age of reason, Tiaathque took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Ulblyn was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ulblyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Efferil and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.
