Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Nala is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Windy alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature warhammer.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Joan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor she uses now. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Joan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
