Description: This malnourished man wears a green cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. His white hair is still thick. His eyes are black and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Morthos fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. After a long history of fighting, Bryseis and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with her Herbalist mother left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Vanuath will drive conversation. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Vanuath was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He's also a talented Cook, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She is greedy.

Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She has dyed her greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Herleva was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Herleva's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Herleva and her spouse have recently divorced.
