History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Ella was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ella decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is obsessed with his god.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Shamash took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.
History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Akta alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
