Description: He wears a grey costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Baker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Alberich abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Isabella was born the youngest of three triplets. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Isabella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To unite with her brother; and doesn't want to be a tanner and was forced into it by her family

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.
History: Jacoba was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: She is a Engraver first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Liftrasa was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: Expand her business; and she is content

Personality: Whurdred speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Detective profession.
History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he usually wears his black robe and has his flail always slung over his shoulder. He wears his white hair up. His gold unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: Balam lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Balam was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Balam's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bellfounder, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Eldon liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
