Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Veit grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Veit fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Dagger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Pelt liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
