The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Soveliss took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Five grew up listening to his father's many stories. Five abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Beatrice alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has achieved small success as a Fortune-teller.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Cairn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Cairn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Gorga was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. After coming to the age of reason, Gorga took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees.
