The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

History: Born in the north to a Butcher, Tomi learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He became a Butcher soon after.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Jocelyn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Claira was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she is greedy

History: Born in the west to a Farmer, Vadania learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Farmer. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
