Upon awakening, Cockaby discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Cockaby fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
