History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. After coming to the age of reason, Balam took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has achieved small success as a Glassblower.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Adventurer profession.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Oren's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Oren was born with his father's beautiful face. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
