History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tailor.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: River was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
