History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Bhevek was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Anbera and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the north to a Map Maker, Jo learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Being a Map Maker kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Born in the east to a Ruler, Cecily learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Fisher, but she got bored and became a Ruler. She struck the Ruler job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and balancing her hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult

Description: He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Crown-heir arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Expand her business; and balancing her hectic life and new spy responsibilities is difficult

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a yellow suit, tan shirt, and pastel tie. His blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Frederick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Frederick was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and wants to work out more often
