Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her blue eyes.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft blue waves gently in the breeze. He is physically well-built. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. His blue eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.
History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Norsko was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Norsko decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and money/treasure

History: Born in the south to a Laborer, Drifting learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Drifting abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

Description: She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She carries a battered shortbow and tarnished scythe as well. She wears a deerstalker hat to hide her balding. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.
Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Dalaba lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dalaba fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Description: He wears long strands of aquamarine and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and carries nunchakus. He has brown hair. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Nalral hails from a village terrorized by goblins. At a young age his mother died while driving off some goblins. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in nunchaku use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Revenge; and someone believes him a fraud
