Upon awakening, Kali discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Kali fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: She hates Halflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. A freak accident while working with her Cook father left her crippled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Beggar father left her crippled. History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
