History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ugol was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ugol decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of a Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Dimble was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Oskar was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Unemployed. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
