History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Shifting has worked very hard to control her curse. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a rival would like him out of the picture
