Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Skak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Skak was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Locksmith arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart.
