Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
