Description: This malnourished man wears a red costume with the symbols of magic on his torso. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jak embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

Description: She wears long strands of sapphire and short pastel dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. She is physically well-built. Her gray fur is long and unkept. Her amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cloud was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she wants revenge against illithids

Description: He wears just a green suit. He carries with him a set of whips, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His crest is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Kiirith took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up whip and armor he uses now. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her dark red hair is smooth and relatively long. Her eyes are red and she is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. A true patriot, Osah would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Osah reached her early adolescence her Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has never given up on her painting dream.
Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Map Maker responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: Nirgel was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He tends to his Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He carries with him a set of quarterstaffs on his belt, each one with a ruby on the hilt. His red hair is heavily combed to the left. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Orc in existence. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He bought a quarterstaff and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Althaea abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.
