Personality: She is a Scribe first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Avelina enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Avelina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Scribe. She has worked as a Scribe like her mother before her.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He got into the Miner business at a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with her Bricklayer mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has achieved small success as a Slave Trader.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Miles's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born to a Cartwright, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: Born in the north to a Mayor, Erias learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Erias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Mayor.
