Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Vani abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She bought a mace and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Frouse never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She got into the Knight business at a young age. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Patrin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Patrin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants.
