History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She became a Mortician soon after.

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. Her golden hair is cut short. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Jarana's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the east to a Detective, Eberdeb learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He became a Detective soon after.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Naal liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
