History: Veloptima was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Veloptima abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her black crest is still thick. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Perra hails from a village terrorized by drow. Perra liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Perra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Serpent is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Oda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. After a long history of fighting, Oda and her spouse have recently divorced.
