Description: This light-skinned male is wearing a long, brown cloak. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His hair is golden and curly. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: Gomory speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: Gomory was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gomory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gomory. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, John embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Being a Farmer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a axe on his belt, and is pretty ugly. His green crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.
History: He was raised in a desert tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Mugrunden took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mugrunden fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to end his boredom

History: He got into the Sculptor business at a young age. He worked as a nervous Sculptor and found it very stressful. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
