History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and he wants revenge against giants

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. After a long history of fighting, Shifting and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born in the east. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the south. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bowyer, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He is greedy; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He likes to wear white tank tops with grey pants. He carries with him a set of clubs on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. He has done his best to style his brown hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Gifted from a young age, Thorpe studied abroad. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Thorpe was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. A true patriot, Burto would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Burto was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Frouse grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: She wears skinny pants and wears a brown and white robe with the hood down. She carries with her a set of ceremonial daggers, each one with a ruby on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her black hair is smooth and relatively long. Her eyes are hazel.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Jarana hails from a village terrorized by giants. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Jarana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away.
