Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She typically wears black cloth garments or leather armor. Her crest, while still mostly copper, has prominent grey streaks. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Surina was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Surina decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. After a long history of fighting, Surina and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Kody was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kody's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
