Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Cartwright business.

History: Baelitae was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). Being a Cartwright kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Ootah was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ootah was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She takes great joy in being the best Mason in town.

History: She was born in the north. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. The war was a terrible time for her, and Finellen does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Trym grew up listening to her father's many stories. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Trym alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and revenge

History: She got into the Detective business at a young age. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His blonde hair is heavily combed to the right. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mayor for hire.
