History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the south were limited. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She worked as a nervous Roofer and found it very stressful. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Merla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
