This search led him directly into Roofer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Roofer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Being a Roofer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Peren is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Peren grew up listening to his father's many stories. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When Qualen reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Burana has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She bought a pickaxe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is greedy

History: She got into the Shoemaker business at a young age. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Shoemaker responsibilities is difficult.
