History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Elysande fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Sailor but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Trey was taken on many hunting expeditions. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Trey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Syllin was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.

History: Thervan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. Being a Animal Trainer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.
