History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thoradin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thoradin. He has worked as a Carter like his mother before him.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

This search led him directly into Weaver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Weaver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has worked as a Cartwright like her mother before her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: Born in the east to a Mason, Theobald learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mason.

She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Gifted from a young age, Randal studied abroad. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
