Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bellfounder born in the past three hundred years. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Avice embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Tree and her spouse have recently divorced.
