History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Rûg was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shamil grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shamil. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her first spouse was a Carter, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Thoradin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Thoradin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
