History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Birel's homeland. Birel decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Tethren was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tethren's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Shivering was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Gardener. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to orcs.
