History: Grom was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Shamil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
