History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Vlorn and his spouse have recently divorced.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Servant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Dazzazn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Dazzazn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Krakhorn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mortician for the past few years.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mortician and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Shadow was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.
