The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Personality: She is a Stableman first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Stableman. She became a Stableman soon after.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Vanuath has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Sapply alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
