History: Gimble was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Driindar lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Seraphina has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Through the years after Jarsali was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jarsali's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Jarsali and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Elysande was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her childhood dream was to be a Adventurer, but she was a colossal failure. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
