However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Griselda hails from a village terrorized by illithids. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. She became a Miner soon after.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born into a rich family. She worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Map Maker for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and many illithids want her driven away

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a white tunic with black highlights, and long violet pants that bunch up around his shoes. He wears his white hair down. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. Corkitron enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His first spouse was a Miner, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is an amazing painter.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and many giants want him driven away
