History: Lerissa hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Direcris was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Direcris's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Direcris was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She is a Lamia in disguise. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and to reunite with her old friends

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Ploughman work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.
