History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thiala grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thiala. After a long history of fighting, Thiala and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to be a shoemaker again

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Gnome, and stands approximately 3'8". He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, and his gloved hand is found clutching a mace. His auburn hair is singed and shortened. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Cook but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Wiggens fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
