History: Dee lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. After coming to the age of reason, Valanthe took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. History: Bryseis was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere.
