Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a red shirt with thin blue vertical stripes and tan pants. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep grey leather and dull blue iron scale mail. His golden hair is greasy and uncared for. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, John embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. John grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did John. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This eastern woman is abnormally tall. She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She has wavy silver hair. She wears a mask on her face.
Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student she started as a Map Maker, but she got bored and became a Miller. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Born in the west to a Fletcher, Direcris learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Fletcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fletcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fletcher for the past few years.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fletcher responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Her wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She is a Tanner first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.
History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Through the years after Hugolina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hugolina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She tends to her Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
Motivation: To be a Unemployed again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a ceremonial dagger on his belt. His hair is cut close to his head. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Az-Rans took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
