Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nykkan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Nykkan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
