History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Maynild was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She takes great joy in being the best Tanner in town.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Tanner for the past few years.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Through the years after Verna was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Verna's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Fisher for hire.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and further expansion of business
