Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Volen's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Interpreter business.

History: Gifted from a young age, Volen studied abroad. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is greedy

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Zâthra was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Zâthra's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Locksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Locksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.
