History: Broce was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Maegan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. The war was a terrible time for him, and Joser does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and to be a body guard again

Courier work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She became a Assassin soon after.
